Frequently asked questions

What if I’m not based in the UK — can I still enrol?

Absolutely! Hayaa Academy is proud to have had students from Somalia, Indonesia, Canada, and beyond. As long as you have an internet connection, you can join our online courses from anywhere in the world. We’ve designed our classes to be welcoming and accessible across time zones, cultures, and languages.

Do you offer private, one-to-one sessions?

Yes! For families who prefer a more personal approach, we offer at-home or online one-to-one sessions (subject to availability and location). These are perfect for girls who are shy, neurodivergent, or who need sensitive conversations in a quieter space. We tailor the session based on your daughter’s age, understanding, and comfort. Please use our contact form to get in touch!

Is this a lecture or will the girls actually be involved?

This is not a lecture it’s an interactive, engaging experience! The girls will take part in age-appropriate activities, discussions, and games designed to make learning fun, meaningful, and memorable. We aim for a warm, sisterly environment where they feel relaxed and included.

Are boys or men present at any of the sessions?

No. All our classes, online and in-person, are female-only spaces, led by Muslim women. Your daughter’s dignity, comfort, and privacy are always respected.

Do you offer in-person sessions too?

Yes! We’re launching Hayaa Academy Masjid Tours, where we visit local mosques to deliver our one-day intensives face-to-face. These special events allow us to demonstrate certain topics in person, answer questions directly, and create a vibrant, sisterly space rooted in deen and dignity. Keep an eye on our updates — we might be coming to your local masjid soon!

Do you offer scholarships or financial support?

Yes, we believe that every girl deserves access to this knowledge, no matter her circumstances. We offer a limited number of sponsored places for families in financial difficulty. If the cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out, your request will be handled with privacy, respect, and compassion.
